Michael Boutin for Barre City Representative

Michael Boutin has spent much of his life serving Barre City and working to make our community a better place to live, work, and raise a family. A lifelong Barre resident, Michael has served the community as a City Councilor, School Board member, School Board Chair, and State Representative.

Throughout his public service, Michael has focused on practical solutions, transparency, and accessibility. He believes elected officials should be available to the people they represent, explain their decisions, and listen to differing viewpoints. Whether someone agrees with him or not, Michael is always there to discuss it.

Michael's priorities have consistently centered on affordability, public safety, strong schools, housing, economic development, and supporting local communities. He has advocated for policies that help working families, veterans, seniors, and small businesses while working to keep government accountable to taxpayers.

In Montpelier, Michael has supported efforts to reform Vermont's education funding system, expand housing opportunities, improve public safety, reduce unnecessary regulations, support veterans and military families, and strengthen economic opportunities throughout the state. He has also been a vocal advocate for Barre City's interests, including flood resilience, downtown revitalization, housing development, and infrastructure improvements.

Michael believes government works best when people of different backgrounds and viewpoints come together to solve problems. His approach has always been to put community first, listen carefully, ask tough questions, and focus on results rather than politics.

We recommend John Santorello for State Representative because he will be a strong advocate for the people of Barre City.

John understands the pressure that high taxes, rising costs, and government overreach have placed on working families, retirees, and small businesses. He believes government needs to live within its means, focus on core services, and be accountable for the results it delivers.

LT Governor John Rodgers

John Rodgers is a lifelong Vermonter, small business owner, and experienced public servant who has served as Vermont's Lieutenant Governor since 2025.

A native of Glover in the Northeast Kingdom, Rodgers previously served in both the Vermont House of Representatives and the Vermont Senate, where he developed a reputation for independent thinking and a willingness to work across party lines.

A former Democrat who became a Republican, Rodgers has consistently emphasized affordability, individual freedoms, support for working Vermonters, and protecting Vermont's rural communities and traditions.

With his agricultural background, business experience, and years of legislative service, Rodgers brings a practical, working-class perspective to Montpelier. His experience and willingness to challenge the political status quo give him a distinctive voice in Vermont government.

Governor Phil Scott

Phil Scott has dedicated much of his life to public service in Vermont. A former state senator and lieutenant governor, he has served as Vermont's governor since 2017.

A lifelong Vermonter, small business owner, and former stock car racer, Scott brings a practical, down-to-earth approach to governing. He is known for his willingness to work across party lines, his focus on affordability, and his efforts to make Vermont a place where families and businesses can thrive.

Throughout his time as governor, Scott has emphasized fiscal responsibility, economic growth, and keeping Vermont affordable. He has also demonstrated a willingness to challenge both political parties when he believes it is necessary.

At a time when Vermont faces rising costs, housing shortages, and difficult decisions about education and government spending, Scott's experience and commitment to bipartisan problem-solving remain important parts of his leadership.

Gerald Malloy – Candidate for U.S. Congress

Gerald Malloy is a U.S. Army veteran, businessman, and Republican candidate for Vermont's seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

A graduate of West Point, Malloy served more than 22 years in the Army, including deployments overseas, and earned a Bronze Star. Following his military career, he worked in government emergency management and private-sector business leadership.

Now residing in Weathersfield, Vermont, Malloy is focused on affordability, economic development, supporting small businesses, strengthening public safety, and responsible government spending.

Malloy has emphasized his willingness to work across party lines and with Governor Phil Scott to address Vermont's challenges. He brings a combination of military leadership, business experience, and a commitment to public service to his campaign for Congress.
